Water pressure test is the test that each boiler must do before leaving the factory. This step is mainly to check the tightness and endurance strength of boiler pressure components. Once the water pressure test is not up to standard, the boiler should be immediately returned to the plant for processing and can no longer continue to be sold to users.
There are four main criteria for measuring the qualification of hydraulic pressure test:
1, no water drops and water mist are formed on the metal wall of the pressure receiving component;
2. The pressure drops to the working pressure, and the expansion port does not have a drop of water.
3. The boiler seal of cast iron boiler does not drop water droplets after it is reduced to rated working pressure.
4. No obvious residual deformation was found after water pressure test.
Therefore, when buying boilers, users may as well ask boiler manufacturers more questions, such as the results of water pressure test or the professional boiler consultant to check the status of the boiler in an all-round way, it is not too late to sign the contract after the inspection has passed.
